We cover a wide range of chess events worldwide, including World Championships, Candidates Tournaments, Grand Prix series, Super GM invitational events, national championships, and open tournaments. We gather data from publicly available sources across the internet and sync new events daily to keep the calendar up to date.

Notifications

How do I set up notifications?

Setting up notifications is simple: 1) Log in by connecting your Telegram or Discord account. 2) Browse the tournament calendar and click the follow button on events you're interested in. 3) That's it! You'll automatically receive push notifications before each round of your followed tournaments begins.

What platforms do you support for notifications?

We currently support Telegram and Discord for push notifications. You can connect one or both platforms to your account. Notifications are sent as direct messages from our bot, so make sure you haven't blocked the ChessNotify bot on your chosen platform.

When are notifications sent?

Notifications are sent approximately 15 minutes before a tournament round begins. This gives you enough time to find a stream or board to follow. For multi-round events, you'll receive a notification before each round you're following.

I'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?

If you're not receiving notifications, try these steps: 1) Make sure you've connected your Telegram or Discord account in your profile settings. 2) For Telegram, verify that you've started a conversation with the @ChessNotifyOfficialBot — it cannot send you messages unless you've messaged it first. 3) For Discord, check that you haven't disabled DMs from server members in your Discord privacy settings. 4) Verify that you're actually following a tournament with upcoming rounds. 5) If issues persist, contact us at support@chessnotify.com.
